Parker Recessed Medicine Cabinet
Built-in cabinetry for your smallest room!
Need a little extra spark to dress up the bath? A handcrafted olde-tyme cabinet in proper period-style will do the trick. No matter the type of home you're restoring, there is a model for you, and I can make it in a custom size. Choose the door style, wood, stain, etc., to make your new cabinet fit your needs to a "T".
Wood & Finish Notes
- All oak is quarter-sawn white oak unless noted otherwise.
- Mahogany "natural" has a reddish stain applied to it.
- Cherry "clear" and Walnut “clear” have no additional color added. They will mature to a rich, warm tone in six to eight months.
- All finished pieces receive a lacquer top coat.
- "Naked" pieces are shipped with no finish applied. Hardware is included and pilot holes are pre-drilled.
- Spray applied lacquer is the standard topcoat.
- Colors will vary due to variations in photography, monitors and wood density.
Installation Method:
- Recessed, mounted into an opening in the wall.
Door knob:
- Knob (if ordered) will be mounted at the mid-point of the door stile unless you indicate otherwise.
Maximum size:
- 20 7/8"W x 30 7/8"H and priced according to the size you enter.
Depth note:
- 4" depth allows for 3.5" wall stud (standard 2X4 stud) plus 1/2" sheet rock or plaster. You must measure accurately.
Entering measurements:
- When entering height and width measurements, round DOWN to the nearest 1/8 inch. This will allow just a bit of 'wiggle room' while installing. Enter the full inches, then the fraction. For instance, 18" + 1/4" wide = 18 1/4" wide.
